• The size of the fan depends on the individual needs. However, we recommend the distance from the blade tip to the vertical wall (or tall furniture) should have at least 600 mm wide.  Rooms with poor natural air flow or areas with warm air should select an appropriately blade size to achieve adequate cooling comfort.

  • A ceiling fan should be at least 2.3 meters from floor to fan blades. In situation when the ceiling is extremely high, extension down rod can be used. The length of the down rod requested can be calculated by taking the celling height minus 2.3 meters.

  • It is important to understand that installing fan on a false ceiling is different from installing on a regular concrete ceiling. Having additional support brackets at the back of the false ceilings are important to hold the ceiling fan and give strong support for the fan. The bracket should be of the heavy-duty type. This step is imperative to secure a safe installation. A strong base and heavy-duty brackets can safely support the fan and also able to eliminate noise that may be caused by the fan vibration.

  • Do not throw anything under the ceiling fan; do not jump under the ceiling fan, users with lower ceilings should pay more attention.

  • It is recommended to conduct regular examination and maintenance checks on the fan suspension system yearly. Rectify and replace part, if needed, in due course.

  • Use diluted neutral detergent with a clean cloth. Never use abrasive materials (such as black, green and steel pads, steel brushes) which can leave scratches on the blade surfaces. Do not use acids, alkalis, bleaches or solvent as these chemicals can damage and discolor the blades. Do not bend the blades while cleaning to avoid any distortion and can result in fan’s stability and create sounds.
